IDEA:
My proposal for a possible idea for the documentary is to look at the life of Caroline Caffrey, a breast cancer survivor who has had a double mastectomy. This documentary will be visualised in a preformative way as we look at Caroline's life and the difficulties she has faced coming to terms with her new body. She is very comfortable with herself and I want to explore why and how she achieved this. I am aware some of this may be personal to Catherine so I need to discuss with her what she is willing to say and what she feels comfortable doing.
I am yet to email her, but she is my mums friend and when asked she seemed very much interested in taking part in the documentary. At the moment it is just a rough idea that will need developing over the coming weeks.
